February 2009 Hi Everyone; Well, the North East conference is behind us and everyone
came Further on in this enewsletter, Jeffrey D. Barr has written a letter to all thanking our members for their individual efforts on behalf of ACF The Epicurean Club of Boston, and I whole heartedly SECOND THAT EMOTION! There are so many others that deserve Kudos, like Kevin Toomey from Kinnealey Meats for getting us the beef purveyor in the trade show. John Morrish who at the last minute came through with much needed extra refrigeration. Laura Sapienza Grabski, President of Les Dames dEscoffier Boston , who also helped with turn out at the trade show. Tim Foley who helped with many behind the scenes events as well as the trade show. Linda Munch President of the Rhode Island Chapter of ACF brought two young Culinarians to help out. All the local culinary schools that sent Ambassadors to help out. And, of course, the 620 plus chefs from all over the North East who attended the event. New England Coffee for all that coffee they donated as well being the chief sponsor of the entire event. As your representatives Americo DiFronzo, CEC, AAC and
myself presented for you the members of ECB, three awards: Noble
Massi, CEC, AAC , L. Edwin Brown and to Mark Wright, CEC, AAC
