Rules for the application of the ECB Presidents Medallion
1.It is the responsibility of the applicant to furnish documentation
verifying any and all claims made by the applicant. It is then
the right of this committee to verify all documentation where
and when they deem necessary.
2.Points earned must have been from events of the 10 calendar
years prior to the date of the application. Only the events of
the Epicurean Club of Boston, the Massachusetts Chefs de Cuisine
and the ACF Greater Boston Chapter are eligible. Since this
is a local chapter award, no ACF National or other chapter involvement
will be accepted unless the above-mentioned local chapters sanctioned
the event.
3.To earn a Medallion the applicant must amass a total of
100 points. The points are not interchangeable by categories
and all mandatory requirements must be met. Recipients must
earn at least ½ (half) of the whole medallion committee
vote.
4.Choosing award recipients will be the sole discretion of
the committee and all decisions made by the committee will be
final.
5.Applicants may apply repeatedly although may only apply
once per calendar year.
6.Members may earn one Medallion only, NO EXCEPTIONS.
7.All criteria scored must be complete, no partial years or
incomplete events will be accepted.
8.All members of the ECB will be eligible, including the Medallion
Committee, however no member of the committee is allowed to vote,
evaluate or have anything to do with his/her own application.
9.Application deadline for Presidents Medallions awarded
at the 2008 ECB Presidents Ball must be post marked by
October 10, 2008. Mail your two-page application and documentation
to: The Epicurean Club of Boston, Presidents Medallion
Committee, 29 Johnson St., Saugus, MA 01906-1745.
